James Vernon Webster (Jim, Jimmy, Dad, Papaw)
Mr.Webster passed on to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 with his wife of 41 years, Barbara, by his side. He was preceded by his first wife Ella Louise (Logdon) Webster who passed July 22, 1973. Jim was a faithful public servant for the USDA Meat and Poultry Inspection Service for 30 years, and had a life long commitment to his church. He leaves behind a legacy of love, which includes his wife of 41 years, Barbara Webster, and nine children:...

Mr.Webster passed on to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 with his wife of 41 years, Barbara, by his side. He was preceded by his first wife Ella Louise (Logdon) Webster who passed July 22, 1973. Jim was a faithful public servant for the USDA Meat and Poultry Inspection Service for 30 years, and had a life long commitment to his church. He leaves behind a legacy of love, which includes his wife of 41 years, Barbara Webster, and nine children: Mitchel and (Madonna) Webster, Steve and (Sheila) Webster, Dennis and (Julie) Webster, Rick and (Vickie) Martin, Andy and (Ginger) Webster, Brenda McDonald, Jason and (Melissa) Webster, Pamela Sparks-Barker, and Cynthia Plymate. Mr. Webster also had 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Jim was greatly loved by all who knew him and he will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 4-7pm with funeral services on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel.
